Work Package Planning
Work Package Plans were introduced in June 2007 and since then Network Rail and its Suppliers have continued to refine and improve the process. The basic component parts of it remain the same but the documents and their contents have been subject to ongoing review in an effort to improve the quality of the finished product. The latest formal review has just been completed and Version 4 of the Standard (NR/L3/INI/CP0044) was issued in June, 2010 ready for a final compliance date of 4th September, 2010.
One output of this review was the removal of the core documents from the main body of the Standard and the revised templates and forms (all of which contain greatly extended guidance) are available immediately below:
