Communication is a vital part of rail safety, and at the heart of what we all do day-to-day.
Our own safety, and that of those working with us, will often depend on knowing what each other is doing – where, why and when. Many of the systems we have in place are based on this understanding.
And if something does go wrong with a procedure, or there’s an unforeseen hazard, your team may have to rely on communication to prevent the danger.
