Q. What kind of Personal Protective Equipment do I need to work trackside?
A. You are required to wear the following when working on or near the line:
An approved, standard high visibility vest with horizontal and vertical reflective stripes;
Approved safety footwear with steel toe caps, ankle supports and mid-sole protection, and
A hard hat. The company name and logo of your sponsor should be worn on the back of the jacket. If you work on the track for more than one sponsor on different occasions, you will need a different logo for each. Depending on the type of work you are doing, you might also have to wear ear defenders, goggles, gloves or overalls.
